This place suits me perfectly, offering excellent wi-fi, friendly staff, and a bar/lounge area. I fondly remember how they helped return my forgotten headphones. I recommend trying the breakfast! I'm excited to return for Christmas.

3Rd time at Hotel 54... It's all about the location. The Hotel itself is clean and like all other hotels, it depends on the guests... We've always been lucky - nice, quiet people. You can sometimes hear guests in the next room but again, it depends on how loud they are. This time we were in room 406 which is a connecting room - perfect if we had our children with us, but not so good otherwise - I could hear them brushing their teeth... Anyway, just avoid room 406 if you can help it. If not, again, we were lucky. They were relatively quiet.Honestly can't fault it.

comfortable stay , but noisy environment
Clean, simple accommodation with friendly staff. The powerful shower was easy to control. Being close to both the beach and the Gothic Quarter allowed us to explore easily and enjoy the local culture. I appreciated the good selection of toiletries provided in the room.
The hotel had some noisy moments, particularly with slamming doors that disrupted sleep occasionally.

Excellent location.
The price is overstated and does not correspond to the hotel level.

Brace yourself for this review!
Amazing location near the beach, with an inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. The rooftop terrace dazzles with city views. Access to metro and bus stations enhances convenience. Morning sustenance is decent, but the local eateries are a treasure trove. Rooms are modern!

The staff were very friendly and being close to the beach was nice. The price was right for a quick weekend away, esp if you plan on being out most of the time and don't mind not having quiet down time. The roof terrace was great for meeting up pre-dinner for a glass of cava.
The hotel was very loud with paper thin walls, so thin that I could hear my neighbor's safe beeping as they entered their key code. I could also hear them cough during the night. If you have a marina front room then you will be kept awake by the fun fair that sits opposite...think pounding nightclub music and screams of ados riding rollercoasters. It was worst on Saturday night going long past 2 am. On weekdays the main noise was between 3-8 and oddly enough there was not much nightlife on any night but Saturday. If you want to stay out late eating, wandering and having a few cocktails you should stay closer in to city center or plan on taking a cab back and forth. And as always with Barcleona, you must be very careful. Don't take anything out that you would be sad to lose. One of our group had her diamond necklace ripped from her neck outside of the hotel while getting into a cab. But that's anywhere in Barcelona not just this hotel.
